Coach Bloom is the Head Varsity Boy's Basketball Coach at Northwest Guilford High School.  Along with 7 years of head coaching experience Coach Bloom has also been working and running basketball camps for over 10 years.  As a resident staff at the famous Five Star Basketball Camp Coach Bloom has spent many years with some of the greatest basketball minds in the country and he is ready to bring that knowledge to each and every Rising Star camper.

Coach Joyner is the Head Varsity Girl's Basketball Coach at Northwest Guilford High School.

She has been coaching for 21 years at NWHS (with my first 8 years at the JV level compiling a record of 129-14 with the last 4 years undefeated seasons).  She was Bob Yow’s (head women’s coach at NWHS  for 24 years) varsity assistant for 7 years until his retirement in 2002.  She became the Head Varsity coach at NWHS at that time and has compiled a record of 143-45 in the past 7 years.  The 2005 Team holds the School Record for the BEST Record in the history of the school at  25-2 while the 2006 Team holds the School Record for the most wins in the history of the school with 26 WINS.  During the past seven years NWHS has complied 2-Championships, 3-Second Place, 2-Third Place Finishes in the Metro 4A Conference; 2-Metro 4A Conference Tournament Championships, 1-Western Sectional Championship; and 9 players to go onto play at the next level.

She has worked many basketball camps over the years including Duke with Mike Krzyzewski, UNC-Chapel Hill with Dean Smith Camp, Tennessee, with Pat Summit, Tennessee Individual Elite Camps with Pat Summit & Billy Moore, NC State with Kay Yow, UNC-Chapel Hill with Sylvia Hatchell, UNC-Wilmington with Ann Hancock, Georgia with Andy Landers, UNC-Greensboro with Lynne Agee, High Point University with Jerry Steele, Wake Forest with Mike Petersen, and UNC-Charlotte with Karen Aston.

Coach Bowden is the Assistant Varsity Basketball Coach at Northwest Guilford High School.  He has spent the past few years running East Coast Basketball Camp and is now bringing his high energy and love for teaching the game to the Rising Stars Hoops camp at Northwest.
